This is the first and only historical fiction adventure story that uncovers the roots of Southern Appalachian clogging and exposes the reader to the journeys, challenges and contributions of Native Americans, African Americans and Europeans. It is written primarily for young readers but is filled with interesting information that adults find facinating as well. Maps, song lyrics, rhythm and clogging fundamentals, illustrations, folk instruments and a Study Guide are included.
